In many homes in the UK, an elderly relative is now cared for by one of their own family. This can be an over burdening commitment on the family who believe they have no other choice. When a person requires constant care and attention, the Respite Care Service helps the family caregiver maintain their own emotional and personal well-being. The primary benefit of this service is to give the family caregiver a break from providing care. The service can cover anything from giving the family a couple of hours break to proving 24-hour support whilst they take a much-needed holiday.
